If I was a Sony exec I would drop the price by $100 before Killzone 2 releases. That game with the PS3 at $300 is going to sell great and no, I never thought R2, LBP, Motorstorm 2 would sell well.
My belief is that Killzone 2, GT5, GOW 3 and Uncharted 2 will sell well and stick by that, Sony can make huge software sales with those games. What I am pretty 1000000000% sure of is that the price of the PS3 in Japan will be dropping very very soon, some huge games coming out there.
