Another place to look is the annual sales.  Too bad there is no total software for other.  Trying to remain unbiased.

In JPN and NA Wii has sold 20,616,256 units of software, 360 has sold 17,059,302.

Take out Wii Sports (JPN and NA about 4.5 million this year): 16,200,000 est.

Take out all Nintendo published software (estimating 12.5 million in Wii software for Nintendo in '07.) leaves you about 8 million in third party software so far (this year), this may not sound like much but if you consider the crap third parties are pumping out...

For 360  take out all MS software and that leaves you with more than the 8 million from Wii 3rd Parties: about 13 million.

If you add in OTHER that it probably closes the gap on the total software, and widens the 3rd party gap.

Not bad for just catching up on hardware this week.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
