SE will miss out on sales and $$$ if FF XIII remains exclusive for PS3 in Japan.
PS3 version of FF XIII could sell around 2 million in Japan region alone.
500k to 1 million copies of FF XIII of XBox 360 sold in Japan would be icing on the cake.

Very unlikely. That would require a system-to-software ratio of over 50%: a ratio that even GTA4 and Halo 3 have been unable to accomplish in any region. Final Fantasy has never even begun to approach that figure -not even in the best of times- and the 360 fanbase is far less inclined toward JRPGs than the PS3 fanbase is. I doubt FFXIII/360 would even break 200,000 copies in Japan, and that simply isn't enough of an increase in sales to justify the cost of back-localizing it.

Complexity is not depth. Machismo is not maturity. Obsession is not dedication. Tedium is not challenge. Support gaming: support the Wii.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. I hate the confusion of obsession with dedication, style with substance, new with gimmicky, old with obsolete, new with evolutionary, and old with time-tested.
There is much to hate about modern gaming. That is why I support the Wii.
