i think were seeing a similar pattern to last year. Nintendo systems get much bigger boosts in december, while the ps3 did very well in november. You can see now with PS3/PSP sales dropping or staying the same while DS/wii sales rise without any significant games.
BTW the dsi is really not supply constrained right now, ive been to 4 shops here and they all had it in stock, used and new.
