Actually Vlad, Heavy Rain was one of the first games touted as being in the Uncanny Valley and David Cage, Director/Quantic Dream, publicly announced in December 2007 that Heavy Rain would be seeking a path out of the Uncanny Valley. His quote was that: with HEAVY RAIN “there is no uncanny valley anymore, not in real time. Though that's a bit far fetched with current console technology, how much of HEAVY RAIN have you seen? It definitely has some of, if not the most, photorealistic character models seen in a console game. Seeking a path out of “Bukimi No Tani”, the Japanese translation of Uncanny Valley. This is my top subject bro, “The Uncanny Valley”. Tread lightly, please.

Maybe that was an earlier set up, but what forevercloud has jsut linked us is nowhere even close to the uncanny valley. The uncanny valley are where Beowulf and The Polar Express sit in terms of digital renders of humans. What he jsut showed does not even come close to that.
