IGN: White knight Chronicles to have built-in Social Networking Service

CONSUMER IMPRESSIONS:

"The show started with a Speech from President Hino, he talked about Dragon Quest then moved on to how they finished White Knight tory earlier than expected. He went on to talk about Dogma Senki, a webcomic prequel to White Knight Chronicles that started today with episode 0, it can be viewd on the official site. It's another story about the White Knight and adds more depth to the world. He finished by talking aboput how WKS will be continued for a long time through Downloadable Content such as new quests.

The next part of the show was a live demonstration, two members of SCE played alongside Aki Higashihara & Kazushi Sakuraba.It was an escort mission where they had to defend the convoy and defeat the boss, pretty simple.

After that we were shown to an area where there were many demo kiosks set up, finally we get to play it!

I started by making a custom character, people will probably spend hours doing this but I just made one quickly to get into the game. Starting the game, my custom character can be seen in the beautiful opening cinematics. There were many options available, save game, item transfer and network, but since this was an offline play stall they couldnt be accessed.

Into battle! Monsters can be seen and encountered on the field and the combat takes place right there and then. your party members are always on the field too. You can tell if there's a giant monster around because the screen starts to shake. Depending on the creature the screen will pan out to show them in their entirity so you can see just how much bigger than you they are.

The game has many features you can take ingame screenshots there was a list of trophies but they all said ??? You collect many items like monster parts, I assume for synthesis but I didnt get to try it out.

In conclusion White Knight Chronicles ~Ancient Pulse~ is a great game for all PS3 owners and especially JRPG fans."
