For your info, I am an avid chess player.
Which is why I am disgusted at this. I thought chess was one of those things you did with your friend, sitting at your local Starbucks, sipping your frappuccino so loudly that your opponents loses their concentration.
Instead, Nintendo decides that we need another way to replace an intellectually stimulating activity. I am sick of all these simulation games. Nintendogs was fine. After all, you can't just adopt a puppy whenever you want. It will crap all over your house. As for Wii Sports, these things are perfectly possible in real life, but I guess some people don't want to pay at their local bowling alley or go down to a country club.
But this is just ridiculous. All you need to play chess is a chess set and a friend. Nintendo could be busy working on Project H.A.M.M.E.R, but no, let's go replace more things people can easily do in reality.
Ignore my rantings if you wish, I just needed to get that off my chest.
