JL never predicted 500 million Wiis sold even though people say that almost every day around here. He said minimum 240 million, maximum 500 million.
Regarding his prediction about PS3 and Sony, I consider it luck if he gets it right. Sony will/would support the PS3 further unless they get into so much trouble that they have no other choice but to quit. But if the latter happens that's due to the economic downturn, which was not JL's reason for his prediction.
