The "Obama not a US citizen" case has been thrown out of court, case closed

I personally don't agree that the Hawaiian birth certificate should have been shut down. From what i heard, the certificate that was shown was a certificate of live birth, which only proves that Hawaii recognized that he was born, period, not that he was neccesarily born IN hawaii.

But I do actually have logical issues with the indonesia deal.

okay, so he went to a public school, but how can you determine for certain that he wasn't just breaking indonesian laws? There are plenty of ways to do it: forged documents, bribes, or even the good old fashion, get sympathy from someone, to let him go to school while you "promise" to get all teh neccesary offical paperwork done, but then not actually follow through.

I mean, that's literally all he has to do is go "well, yeah, I guess I must have been going to a public school there illegally or something then"
I mean, what would you do then? Punish him under indonesian law before he can be president?

Of course, if you find proof that he did officially renounce his US citizenship, then yeah, it's on, etc.

And as far as McCain goes, I thought his father was in the military, and citizenship can be granted to their children even without being born inside the US, though that might still be limited to Military bases who are treated as "American Soil"

Just throwing out what I've heard. I honestly have tried to stay as much out of this as possible, as both sides of the argument disgust the hell out of me.
