So sales of the system are more important to you than the games or features of that system??? Is that what you're saying????

"X system isn't selling as good as Y system. It doesn't matter if I like it or not, Y system is being bought by more people so I will go with that."

I think what this mindset alludes to is that with higher sales = more exclusives and lower sales = less games and, if you're selling the worst AND coming last it doesn't invoke much consumer confidence in a long life, causing a big stir of doubt in the supposed '10 year plan'.
