Nintendo has really subsisted on the handheld market since the latter N64 days, which is why (I believe) they worked so hard to revamp and get more sales out of the GBA and why they made the DS so awesome.
But now with the Wii doing so well they don't have to rely just on the handheld market anymore to make the big bucks so it is all gravy.
Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.
One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.
