Of course one or two reviews is usually a bit early to judge the game. But if this is the trend, it says a lot about the uncertainty of new franchises. No matter how it looks or what the hype is, it's always impossible to tell if that new franchise will actually live up to it's hype. Doesn't mean it can't (look at bioshock), but it is usually a good idea to wait until you can actually try the game itself.
