That is the sentiment of some gamers which I have absolutely no idea of understanding. Can somebody please explain to me why someone would say this sober?

Because they've been around forever and need to go. I was playing Mario when I was 4.....16 years later I shouldn't still have to be subjected to the same game.

We always here about how every new FPS is a "generic shooter" or has a "been there done that" feel. So then why isn't Nintendo being criticized? They continually whore out their franchises over and over and over and over and over...

 

 

...and over and over again. And it's funny that it's mostly Nintendo fans bashing most other games because of a lack of "innovation" when they've been playing essentially the same Pokemon game for 11 years
