What would be the point? that would only serve to lower their profits off those titles.

 

For the same reason you don't see Halo on the PS3 or GT5 on the 360.

 

That doesn't make sense. They'd be paying to buy back software that would have brought them in additional profit. When Sony bought Psygnosis they didn't didn't pull the Saturn version of Wipeout from the shelves. Not only that, Wipeout 64 wasn't even finished when Sony bought Psygnosis and they still released the game.
