The problem is that too many people want these to be totally separate markets... the argument is: give PS360 all the "real" games, and give Wii all the rest... Wii consumers are not even "real" gamers with "real" tastes, they will buy anything, even the worst cash-ins...
And i'm not only talkin' about so-called analysts and journalists, i'm talkin' about most 3rd parties as well: they DON'T WANT the Wii to have too many great games in ALL the existing genres out there... cos' then, it would be too dominant, and the userbase on PS360 would not be large enough for all their ultra-hyper-pricey PS360 projects... they want the PS360's success to not loose their "safe" investments, quite easy to figure out...
The lack of AAA 3rd parties games on Wii should have killed it, or at least weakened it, but no, it didn't happen that way... Wii's success is now soooo huge that after now two or three years of constant stupid comments all over the net ("Wii's a fad", etc, etc, etc, etc, ad nauseam...), the only exit these guys have left is... it's not in competition, it's not even a "real" console (gaaasp...)
I find it pathetic, and if this mentality is a reflect of the "real" gaming industry's mentality, then the gaming industry may just go to hell... serious...
