I also don't see any beautiful lighting, large environments, nice looking vegetation, etc like in the BIA shots. And the mountains in the background of the first shot look like they're made of about 12 polygons. Textures look kind of blah too. I'm not saying MOH looks bad, I just don't think it looks nearly as good as BIA (at least from the screenshots I've seen, and yes, I did click the link and look at all of them). |
You may not see it, but I do. Brothers looks to focus on draw distance, and polygon count (such as the lush grass all around), while Medal looks to focus on textures and shading (make sure to use the view image command to see the full detail.
It's an apples to oranges thing. A more extreme example is Rogue Squadron III vs Resident Evil 4. Both pushed the GC, but in different ways.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
