To all the people saying we love the wii because it's different a fresh, what have you been playing on the Wii? That's right, SUper Mario Galaxy (Super Mario 64), Zelda: Twilight Princess (Zelda: Oot), mario Kart Wii (Mario Kart DS), Super Smash Bros Brawl (Super Smash Bros Melee) and ports (RE4, Okami etc).

You've been playing the same games Nintendo's been dishing out for years, the lone exception, and one of the few reasons I keep my wii, Metroid Prime 3.

Aside from that, you could list of X amount of innovative/"unique" games and I'd be able to do the same on both 360 and PS3.

My point isn't to bash Wii lovers, but don't give me this crap that you are the older gamers that have been playing the same games over and over again and the Wii is giving you fresh experiences when I guarantee that all of you have mostly Nintendo titles in your cabinet (which I mentioned before, you've played already).

What makes Nintendo Wii fun? For me, it's the fact that it is so simple, that my non-gaming family can play it, even if all we ever play is Wii sports. It's not because it's different, it's because it's simple. There are plenty of other simple games on the other two consoles, but Nintendo managed to streamline it and break it down even further.

That's why the Wii is so popular.

No I don't think you really have a point here. I thought Galaxy and Twilight Princess were mediocre, and never really spent much time with any of the ports. I have spent a lot of time with Mario Kart Wii, but thats because the game is so amazingly different from the DS version that your comparison is laughable at best. Wii Sports and Super Paper Mario are also great additions you seem to forget entirely. But you are entirely missing the point about the fresh experience. It is not about the games being entirely new so much as being entirely different from how you played them before. Notice how you love Metroid Prime 3 despite Metroid Prime being the better game, and on the GameCube.
