The problem with such contests in invariably they degenerate into nothing more then popularity contests. Fellow members rarely vote on the most deserving. They just vote for the person they like the most. Further more we do not need prizes that just encourages cheating.
Might I suggest that you create a thread where you in an unbiased fashion choose your favorite five for each category, and then invite other posters to vote on your selection. You might not quell all dishonesty, but you will quell the majority of the bullshit. A word of warning though listing off favorite troll or spinner will get you banned, because it is considered a personal attack upon another poster.
