You are actually mistaken.  Last gen the hardcore had gamecubes and PS2.  The PS2 was the casual and hard core console.

so there are 24 21.59 million hardcore gamers in the world?????? you really think the GC was a hardore console????? ok .... note that i said that poeple with only a wii and no other console now or in the future, those cant be called  hardcore, and please, can you give a list of hardcore games on the GC that where not on the PS2?
