Why is the Inferior Wii So Popular?

I could say the same thing about ps3 or xbox 360, "the majority of consumers will get tired of it within weeks. The far safer bet is to keep up with technology and get yourself a wii."
(From the control aspect) Ps3 and xbox 360 are both inferior to the wii.
