@mrstickball:
1. Games, of course, but profiting from the games is the requirement for getting more games. If we have an industry that can't make profit, the industry can't exist.

2. DLC is becoming more important, since due to bad profit margins, it offers extra revenue with high profit margin. You can sell small piece of content, which didn't cost practically anything, for relatively high price.

3. I haven't played for the score, but i have played enough to know how the system works. My point wasn't whether the system is good or bad, my point was, that it's not a "high score" -type of system. You can increase your score by playing more games, instead of trying to get the best possible score in them. The high score system is competetive, when gamerscore is only virtually competetive.

4. Well, the examples were the best and the worst from my experience. Starting the console and launching the game takes a little time and if there's a game going, watching it to end takes some time too.

5. I'm not too happy with them. But, in comparision to a rehashed sequel sold at full price, expansion sold at less than half the price of a full game, the expansion is a good thing.
Also, it depends when the DLC is released; a year or two after the games initial release is a whole different thing than a month or two after release. Of course, i don't have anything against free DLC.
