The game is getting many average reviews, not just from gamespot. I didn´t like the original game and I´m pretty sure this one will be worse. ToV is coming early next year so I´ll buy it, it should be worth like TotA. As far as ToS2, doubt I´ll be getting it, unless I´m desperate and there´s a drought in games. ToV though will be more than enough to keep my needs for over 80 hours.

if you didn't like the original how comes you like Tales of Vesperia?

sales tell more than reviews, and Tales of Symphonia is selling much better!

btw, how can a game with such a great story, so much depth, strategy and everything get a 6.7....

the music is amazing, and the music gets 5.0??

get a taste of how great this game is:

no absolutely not. You like what you like irregardless of sales or reviews but I generally find reviewers to be more  in tune with great games than the general public so I won't say either is the best way to go but reviews definitely say a lot more than the game. At least they tell you why it's rated the way it is whereas sales just tell you that you could be different from a LOT of people.
