I think it is a contest between Mario 64 and Wii Sports, IMO. Wii Sports has pushed a "technically" inferior console ahead of a two time undisputed champion and a newcomer who beat Nintendo in its first generation. Mario 64 because the sheer enjoyment in that game and it's impact on the industry continue to influence games today.
