Actually your kind of wrong. CUDA is meant to be a programming tool. CUDA can be used to offload Physx rendering to the CPU if the PC user does not have a physical Physx card or a physx compatible GPU (basically 9800GTX and above). DX10 is being used in a similar way to offload accelerated graphics to the CPU.
