Exactly. Back to the OT -- the Wii must be dirt cheap to make. This article is a whole lot of BS, IMO.
The very idea that Nintendo has not also been improving their manufacturing process, and reducing their costs, over the last couple years is ludicrous. It may cost less to make a Wii than it does to make a PS2 these days, by sheer volume alone. Heck the PS2 has a DVD player (not that they are very expensive these days), and the Wii doesn't even need that.
The only way that Nintendo could not be way in the black on Wiis, would be by some really poor manufacturing decisions or issues.
