It's Been a while since I've last commented on this site, but I've have been checking in regularly and reading up on what you guys have to say. I used to think that who finished in what position actually mattered, but now that I think about it does it really matter at all? Does anyone on this forum legitimatly think that any of the three, sony, microsoft, and nintendo, will not make another system after this generation? Why do we argue about why our system is better then the others, does it matter at all? I personally am a Sony fan, but just because I am a sony fan does that mean I cant like either the Wii or 360? I feel like we've become glued to "our companys" and lost track of whats the important factor in gaming, being competitive and having fun.

I don't know, this is just something thats been bugging me. I see countless threads titled "Sony is Dead", "Microsoft will fall in 2009", "Wii is for Kids", but as long as the people who own the systems are having fun, what does it matter...

The one arguement that I think once was legitimate was that the company with the userbase will get the thirdparty titles, but in a time where production costs are so high, even that arguement is gone, soon multiplat titles will be the only titles, there will be no more "loyalty". Except for IP games.

What do you guys think?
