I seen wii tie-in ads too, and also Microsoft X360 movie ads for various movie ti-in games. Not sure how you know "who" did them. Anyways, I suspect that they are sharing advertising costs.
I don't recall ever seeing any for the PS3 specifically (although some generic multi-platform TV ads).
