Those wacky Japanese don't do mess around with wrists!  They do something called Seppuku or Harakiri, which is a form of Japanese ritual suicide by disembowelment.  Very messy, and what must be one of the most painful types of suicide.

I've heard that you can live for hours, maybe a day or 2 with your guts hanging out
