I agree its not as ridiculous, but the stark change from PS3 is the hunter to the PS3 is the hunted and the extremism on both ends is just insane.

People need to relax, anything can (and will) happen. Nothing is over.

Well, for me the interesting part of the console race is over. The only interesting thing left to see is how Sony manages as a company, and what's the impact of this in the next-gen.

The only way for the console war to get interesting again is if the PS3 gets discontinued. Then it will be interesting to see who gains in developer attention between the Wii and 360. Otherwise I don't expect any big changes.
