With the 360 likely winning again in 2008 and all the publishers in full support of the 360 it is likely the following occurs:
At the end of 2008 the 360 will have a 7 million lead over the PS3. More peoples friends will have 360's and this will cause the lead to grow (even with Sony dropping $100 sometime in 2009 and the 360 only dropping $50). These things tend to build on themselves. Add to this that consumers are growing less and less fearful of the RRoD because of Falcon and Jasper 360's. Add to this the availability of Blu-Ray players under $200 and propably under $150 (other than Black Friday) by mid 2009.
The 360 basically will have a 10 million seller every year in Xbox Live. The majority of renewals happen right about this time of year. MS is going to have a great 2nd quarter (MS fiscal year).
Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
