GT5:P was the first AAA title to be release on PS3 and it is why it sold ''decent'' numbers. Plus PS3 userbase is'nt PS2 userbase. Strong analysis doesn't seem to be your cup of tea. Whatever we will see next year if I was right, but at least try to back your predictions with solid arguments.

And to answer your question, YOU introduced the GT5 thing when I was talking about how bad PS3 did recently. So it's fair to assume you're thinking it will save the PS3.
