it's shallow in because you can spam..but it makes you predictable..what makes it stand out is creating your own combos..by canceling or waiting ..you don't HAVE to finish a whole combo..wich can lead into an absurdly damaging combo

my brr plays Eric..he can do 50% HP damage in one of his combos..and then hyper attacks me..

it's a sure 100% KO..and it means you have to think on your feet

and yes..Aeon is great ^_^ he's really different though..you have to take time into account while playing him...his special attacks change over time..heh

It's, like I said..shallow in the sense that everyone has a basic combo..
the depth comes from timing your cancels..wich are different for each character, and stringing your basic combos into actual combos..wich do more damage..and have more chance of shield breaking

and yes..it has a ton of modes..and Castle mode feels like a hybrid between weapon master mode (Soul Calibur) and a bit of an action adventure mode..

I suggest you try it out first and if you like it..buy it
