Bioshock doesn't really work for that theory considering there is no multiplayer and the only online thing you need for the PC is the ability to access Steam so you can play. Steam and xbox/MSN live are different entities aside from Valve being started by two former MS employees. |
hum it was two different argument.... it doesn't apply to gaming only... it apllies to the fact that Microsoft live network is their ultimate goal.... remember Synapse in Anti trust the movie (yeah I know shitty movie) but it's basically what they are trying to achieve less the criminal stuff of course.... it's not about gaming only.... imagine the future of a company that has its hands on basecally anything involving networking in the future... and networking is the future.... (when I say networking is communicating from different device to others not only between PCs through internet or cellphone through wireless) but a global network between all those electronic stuf.... ie your zune with your XB and your PDA with your PC with windows CE and your PC with your watch etc... well you get the point ???
and personally I never succeeded at making work Steam on my PC even after a formating the entire system..... and to play against your friends on XB you'll still have to go through Live and not steam....
