Microsoft owns Windows. But MS wants to win the console war so by putting it on PC aswell it voids people buying a X360 for the game when they can just get it on their PC's.

Except that if you look at the recommended system requirements, most people wanting the best experience for this game will likely spend more upgrading their PC than simply buying a 360. Despite the # of people with a PC, few own systems with enough hardware to play the best games at the best settings. WoW (including the expasion) has rather low requirements compared to other games out there so most current PC gamers out there haven't been needing the best hardware.

Except that I can upgrade my PC's CPU, Motherboard, RAM, and Video Card for $300-$400 and be able to play Bioshock at max settings.   That's in the range of a 360 but I know my PC will very likely not fail me and provides me with faster encoding times and everything else on my PC. Not to mention I can play many of the other great 360 games...

I am debating about when I want to upgrade, because I'd like to get a motherboard that will allow me to get upgrade to quad-cores later so I don't have to upgrade my CPU, RAM, and Motherboard every time.  I currently have only an AGP slot so my motivation to upgrade all of them right now is pretty high considering AGP cards cost more for the same performance of PCI Express cards.

Anyway, since UT3 is supporting keyboard/mouse, if Orange Box also does the same I might not upgrade my PC since I'll be able to enjoy those games on my PS3.
