At its current price point the Wii is the fast selling console of all time, besting both the PS2 and even the DS (which is also above the PS2). The fastest-selling console of all time, and that's without even meeting demand. There is no reason to lower the price. Nintendo is building (and selling) systems faster than their competitors. They have nothing to worry about. If at some point they meet demand and sales slow down, they'll introduce some amazing new games, some new colors, and maybe some bundles. Then if demand and sales slow down again, we'll get a price cut. But until then, people are still paying $300-$400 for Wiis on eBay and in forced bundles at some stores.
