People generally compare the latest games of last gen consoles to the new gen. It seems like comparing MGS2 with MGS4 and try to make argument of it, so its probably better to compare MGS3 with MGS4. So we should atleast compare 2005 games with 2007 games. Wii games does not like last gen but it does not look like "new gen" either. Of course Wii will get much better looking games in the future but it is the same thing with ps3/360. I could have been a bitch and taking a ps2 release game picture and compared it with motorstorm/resistance the difference would have been GRANDE!, but I wont.

Shams went over this already. Both are early projects for their respective consoles and both are made by the same team with the same content and same style of game. The comparison is the fairest you can get when talking about comparing graphics from one console to the next. The comparison you are referring to only provides a look at how much of an immediate bump in graphics there is, not the difference in graphical power of the two systems. |
I see what you mean, but still it is to many years between. Would have been better to compare metroid prime 2002,2004,2007 and compare are three games and show the graphical progress.
