Gamerace said: Just played this game last night with my son. I'm no fan of fighters but to me this is as fun or good as any. However, my son (a much more hardcore player) had some reservations about it. The camera is wonky but no deal breaker, it works well enough. Pros: Fun Nice graphics Easy to get off moves (no A,A,up, down,B crap) Good for casual fighter fans Good selection of characters with varying fighting styles Has a story mode for each character Cons: Camera needs some tuning Hardcore fighter fans probably will find it lacking It's a lot of waggling, my arm was beginning to get sore after 30 minutes Not a lot of characters compared to other fighers If the original concept was to allow you to feel like your flicking Belmont's whip and stuff, that's totally lost as it's all jusk quick rapid flicks - big gestures will cause you to lose and there's no correspondence between how your flicking to the move itself anyhow Some levels have so many environmental hazards that they'll likely cause you more damage than your opponet Some of the special moves with cutscenes are too long and not skipable Havn't tried online yet. All in all I agree with 7.5/10 It's a decent, fun fighter but not in Tekken or Street Fighter's league or really innovative in anyway. But if the online is better than DBZ:TB3 - which had totally broken online, then it's best in class on Wii and worth getting. |
This is similar to the Clash of Ninja Series using the WiiMote, so once you get used there's no much problem at all. But if you have problems you can use the Gamecube or Classic Controller.
Two questions:
Are Japanese voices available? On IGN on guy commented they are.
Are there secret characters? How many characters you saw? Because it must have at least 13 I think.
