Software market share (12 months):
Xbox 360: 33%
PS3: 22%
Wii: 45%
So essentially the PS3 got its fair share, the Xbox 360 aquired got more than its fair share and the Wii got slightly less. Pretty interesting stuff, but probably about what was expected.
Software market share (6 months):
Xbox 360: 30%
PS3: 24%
Wii: 46%
About dead on with current hardware numbers. So it appears each console moves about the same quantity of hardware to software as any other. The PS3 had a slight bump and the Wii lost a little but nother major really. Though if the current software sales for the Xbox 360 continue, it will likely pick up a few % points over the next few weeks.
