Wow, what a bunch of zelda haters. Half these guys never even owned a Nintendo system. Just all mad that MGS and Halo got slammed earlier on the list.

I owned a NES, SNES, and N64, played Oot and didn't like it, I am not a Zelda hater, but not a fan, Mario WILL be victorious.

Considering that OOT was out when you were SIX, I dont think that you could have enjoyed it. Its far too complex for a 6 year old. It was aimed more for the teen/adult crowd at the time. Hell, at 6, you likely were barely able to read or understand anything on the screen. Mario was more aimed to little kids, which is why you favor it more. You were born at the wrong time. The fact that the world is ending in 4 years doesn't help. You wont be old enough to be of legal drinking age by the time it ends. LOL sucks to be you ;)

Considering I didn't get it until a LATER AGE, I should know what I like and don't PERIOD.

You're right that you have an opinion and he's making unsubstantiated judgments about the quality of your own judgment. 

However, he is right that you have no ability whatsoever to unitaterally "get the last word".  He can respond, the question is whether YOU decide the discussion is over anyway.  You have not yet shown that ability. 

He is also right that many people look back on the opinions they had at your age and think, "damn, that was dumb."
