I'm puzzled by the "This is the best game ever" and 10/10 flood of late.

I agree with Bug, there is way too much hype on gaming forums. Unfortunately, it has always been this way and it always will. Game ratings are meaningless. Reviewers should just give an overview of the game, and detailed impressions of what worked and what didn't work. The final score is pointless.

If reviewers are inclined to give the game a numeric score, then they should list other games reviewed by that particular "journalist" so I can put their opinion into perspective.
