Think some of it is due to the recent GOW2 and Fable releases and the rest due to the lower price. Will probably not be so much % difference next week but till the ps3 gets a price cut which it won't the 360 will hold a lead mabey not increased % share but certainly total sales.
Whats really remarkable though is the Wii sells for similar to the X360 costs about 1/2 as much to make sells at a huge profit (instead of a loss like ps360) and on top of that is taking 60% of the entire sales it's a total winner in every way. Once the HD TV market has grown more thanks to HI-DEF broadcast and blu-ray etc and cheap LCD TV's nintendo will release an HD console in 2010 which will leave the Ps360 for dead and keep them as the new number 1 while MS and Sony fight over 2nd place and then bail their current consoles early to try to respond to the new HD Wii.
