Now I remember the other thing I wanted to say in this thread! :) If you are 60% done with the game with only 25% of the items collected, you're doing a piss poor job of collecting items. 
I think I finished Prime for the first time with 75%, and in the last 2, maybe 3 hours of gameplay, I wasn't collecting many new items (I'm fairly certain that the artifacts don't count toward your percentage, and the final two boss battles take a long time).
As it is... if you've got the gravity suit... you're maybe halfway? I think that's about right. Cause then you can do the... which leads to... yeah, you're about halfway. :)
