What exactly are you basing your information on?

The gap is 1-2million units smaller than it was in 2007.

I'm talking about the monthly gap. For most of 2007 (when therewas a $100/200 difference between consoles) the 360 and PS3 were neckaneck until Halo 3 arrived, then Sony dropped price  ($120/50/-80 difference) and gained a little bit of ground.

After the 360 price drop this year which returns us to a $100/200 difference again, the 360 is bringing in 40-50k a week over the PS3, they're no longer neckaneck.

Though the price difference is the same and the PS3 has a better lineup, it's brought the 360 ahead by an even greater margin then before.
