Personally, I'm hugely disappointed with the formulaic nature of video games right now. Sure, I enjoyed GTA: San Andreas and Guitar Hero as much as the next guy but the rate at which uninspired sequels are rolling out is staggering. Without flashes of brilliance like LittleBigPlanet and Patapon I wouldn't be bothered with current generation gaming.
