Last week LBP estimation was based on fact that it was below Fallout 3. I actually started this but when I looked closer it turned out that Fallout 3 first week estimation was very rough and may actually be quite far away from real sales.
LBP sold less that Fifa 09 last week which was around 100k. So LBP Seeing how big sales are this week I can imagine that last Fallout 3 and last week LBP sales were underestimated.
Maybe ELSPA awards will clear things up a bit. If LBP last week was indeed close to 100k than Gold Award isn't out of the question (this would be a great result for LBP, Uncharted got Gold Award just recently).
About CoD shares: I don't know where expectations for higher PS3 share come from. Lombard estimation was pretty bad, most shooter games tend to sell twice as many units on X360 than on PS3. This result for X360 is worse than last year with CoD4 (X360 claimed 63% first week sales than).
X360 CoD4 userbase (thus CoD fanbase) is significantly bigger. It's not easy to give precise nubmers but X360 version of CoD4 got Double Platinium ELSPA Award/600k earlier than PS3 version got Platinium Award/300k (January 2008 vs. Februrary 2008).
