It's less "MS offers" than "Sony buys". Anyway, Linux.

LOL. Sony's laptops wouldnt stand a chance in the mainstream computer world. The average computer user knows windows. I'm not talking the boffins who understand the benefits of each OS. But the computer casuals who surf the net. These peole and all of their friends have seen and only used Windows. That would be a big blow to Sony laptops.
Anyways M$ got into court for cornering the computer market to much. If Sony did pull this I could certainly see them in court. Because and I quote "Sony not allowing M$ to have streaming films is like Sony not allowing Sony Picture DVD's to run on a 360 DVD drive. They are just 2 different methods of viewing the movie. Both Legal adaptions."
Also if I'm right the 360 is more a medium for Netflix to expand to. And considering you need a netflix account, it's netflix that need the rights to stream the films. The fact that Netflix use the 360 as a viewer Sony can do F**K all about. Otherwise Netflix would have to stop the PC version streaming for these films to.
Either M$ is double checking the Legal issues, or they are general teething problems.
