@S.T.A.G.E: I wouldn't say Rare "faded". The company went through a purchase, had re-organizing and they "suddenly" had to jump to a different platform (which was followed by another jump). Whatever anyone thinks about Rares games current quality, they basically skipped the last gen and only recently have again been able to show what they can do.
A number of Rares titles was in developement for GC, then after the purchase, the developement of the titles was moved to Xbox and later decided to put on 360. For example Kameo and Perfect Dark Zero went through the cycle and eventually were rushed to be ready as 360 launch titles.

The GC was DOA in the war between PS2 and the Xbox, but it had a couple of fun games. The problem with Nintendo is that they're always doing their own thing. Lets just say there is never a dull moment for devs with Nintendo (LOL), because they always use their own format. I believe that Rare wont have to rush anymore. Perfect Dark Zero was a great for a launch title which picked up speed for the Xbox 360. It wouldn't have recieved higher scores today seeing what other shooters are boasting and the high expectations to follow. Rare will have to kick it up a notch with the next Perfect Dark. I am still holding alot of hope that Killer Instinct turns out good. I say that they should keep it as a side scroller. If they do everything should fall into place with updated fighters. If it does 09 will be a blast.
