Though in all fairness if you had crippled your product by making the biggest and best you possibly could without any regard for market trends, economics or the consumer (forcing the console designer to resign/demote much like Gunpei Yokoi after launching the Virtual Boy) then I guess you would want to make the most of what little you have to brag about your product too.

I don't believe that the Sony Defense Force site is associated with Sony. And of the current consoles, the PS3 isn't the one I'd be most likely to describe as "crippled". Also: it's "its condescending hubris".

I dont care if they are associated, this just proves its a bunch of sony fanboys in control there, they will say what they will to make ps3 look better thats it. And by crippled he means its not selling very well, which its not, and it currently has a lack of huge game titles that it needs.

As for what he meant by "crippled", again, he probably did mean that, but a console with a 1/3 chance of nuclear meltdown is at least as "crippled" as a console with few quality games. "But Final-Fan Microsoft is coming out with better hardware!" Yeah, well, Sony is coming out with better games. I will be very happy when both of those things come to pass.

And the PS3 is selling better every week than the 360 (until Halo 3 time obviously) -- the 360 has more than twice the PS3's total because it's been out more than twice as long.

Theres the key word Sony IS coming out with better games, when will that be? well i guess i can wait for another year or so, or i can purchase one of the other two consoles with a superior games coming out this fall. And i would certainly rather have a console with GAMES CURRENTLY OUT, even if it has a higher chance of failure. its all about gaming.

Sony is laughable (microsoft also), lets not get started with what they have said, with what all 3 have said some sort of bullshit in the end. I dont want to bash sony( i like sony) i was trying to tell you why he felt that way. i will eventually get one once it has GAMES that are actually worthy enough for a 600 dollar purchase.

Why are you bring xbox into this, its not selling that well either but that doesnt excuse the fact that ps3 hasnt sold well either.Ps3 might been selling a little better, but dont tell me that its right on track, i mean everyone predicted it would only sell 4 million by fall 2007? But go ahead and tell me thats just enough, its exactly where it should be and it is selling exactly like it should be.

Sony certainly has said some ridiculous things, but what started this exchange was a site that made absolutely unbelievably ludicrous claims about Bioshock sucking ass, and it sounded like Sporticus was attributing that drivel to Sony, which is untrue.

Anyway, you definitely caught me fair and square on one score: I did drag the 360 into this without anyone else breathing a word about it. And it's true that the 360's problems don't negate the PS3's problems.

(But please don't exaggerate them: the PS3 is getting a few very respectable games this year, and the big guns are coming out in very early 2008 -- which is next year, not 'a year from now'.)

So fine, the PS3 and 360 are each crippled in their own special ways.
