People were buying the machine when it was having shortages and they didn't know what they were getting (most of the nongamers thought the Wii was just a gaming machine as powerful as any other, but now their discovering that they were wrong and Nintendo is learning that the new crowd of gamers -- the nongamers that made a huge success out of Wii Fit, for example, just aren't interested in bad music games and (un)funny animals. The PS3 will pass the Wii before this gen is over. |

Even though the Wii is outselling the PS3 in Japan (not to mention all other regions), it doesn't matter because the PS3 is still doing better.
Since you know Microsoft's plan for their next-gen console, you also can read the minds of the "nongamers" who bought the Wii without knowing what they were getting. These people are clearly stupid. Who buys consoles without knowing jack shit about them? Oh yeah, it must be Wii owners.
Thank you for telling us that Nintendo released a comedy game about animals. All the "nongamers" will go out and buy it because it's on the Wii.
And the last sentence is the most true prediction of them all. We all know the PS3 will make up its (currently) 19.5 million defecit and win the console, because that's just how awesome it is. And how sucky the Wii is.
