Agreed. For me, Okami and Twilight Princess will be forever intertwined. Both excell at what they're trying to accomplish and each one beats out the other in certain departments. Okami is a refreshing take on the Zelda formula with its goregous style and an awe inspiring world. Okami is just one big breath of fresh air.
Twilight Priness is a more tried and true response to the series, which isn't a bad thing. Not a bad thing at all. It reminds me of why I love the franchise so much, and it also adds a plethora of tweaks to make the adventure worth every moment. It's a game that is just so satisfying. From the first moment to the last, it's a great game.
So yeah, both are great games. One thing that you should note is that Okami has a pretty tough learning curve, so don't give up on it. Give it time, and it will be a very rewarding experience.
